What is Digistore?

Since launching, Digistore has grown to become a market leader in German-speaking countries, and is quickly becoming one of the most popular websites of its kind in the United States.

How did it begin?

In 2011, Sven Platte, a medical student, started selling ebooks on psychology and medical topics over the internet. As a one-man show he became the most successful German-speaking vendor on ClickBank—the largest US sales automation platform at the time. 

After creating more digital products, Sven became frustrated with the existing sales automation platforms. He felt that they did not properly reflect the needs of the European market, nor his own personal standards. 

So he decided to create his own.

Sven teamed with Christian Neise, who developed the first version of Digistore all by himself within 3 months. Sven started to use the new software and it was so good that he began to share it with other entrepreneurial friends. Word began to spread quickly, and within months, this personal software became a viable business, grown purely through word of mouth.

Sven then brought Anthony Kossatz and Jolanta Schoida on board. Together with Christian, the four of them focused on working closely with their initial customers to develop custom features. This strategy of made-to-order quality and responsiveness paid off—Digistore grew quickly. And by 2013 Digistore became the market leader in German-speaking countries.
